40 an hour Warren Glen Academy is an approved small private special education school located in Bloomsbury, NJ (beautiful lower Warren County), serving the educational and therapeutic needs of students ages 5-21 years old with autism, emotional and behavioral disabilities.
We are recognized by the State DOE as a high-quality school for children to attend and employees to work.
The staff is diverse and highly supportive.
We are seeking a motivated One on One para-professional who enjoys students with diverse needs.
Full time with the potential of an additional 30-day summer program.
Position open until filled.
Job Description:
Background working or understanding of students who have special needs preferred; Implement curriculum and make lessons and activities fun using differentiated instruction to fulfill student's IEP and abilities; Maintains standards of pupil behavior and expectations; Is accountable towards student success; Demonstrate good communication skills with the educational team; Assist classroom teachers; Work collaboratively and demonstrate professional attitude and skills working with staff and administration.
